Unibody MacBook Pro: a comparison between the old and new models

We start from the entry-level laptop family Unibody. The configuration of the second model was almost identical to the old one with the great difference of € 450 less in price.
The third model, added to yesterday’s stage, is the new top of the range with respect to the MacBook 15 “. Compared to the previous model of gained additional speed 140Mhz processor and 180 GB of space on the hard drive. Here too a price reduction of € 150 compared to the previous top model.
All 3 models are now reading a slot for SD memory cards and are equipped with the new battery that provides up to 7 hours of battery life (in this case no longer removable). There is no trace of the ExpressCard slot.
MacBook Pro 17 “
The first update to the MacBook Unibody 17 “arrived at 6 months after its launch. The cost has fallen by € 200 and the processor has received 140 Mhz more. Also increased storage capacity with 180 GB more of disk space. It is the only model that has kept the ExpressCard slot and, for the joy of professionals, was also the option for the screen matte anti-glare. Now the MacBook Pro 17-inch costs only € 50 more than the previous cost model top 15 “.
All of the range laptops are also equipped with a new glossy widescreen display with LED backlight that has a color range of 60% larger than that of previous models.
