MacFlite Software releases Trip Plan 1.0.12 for Mac OS X
Coconut Creek, Florida – MacFlite Software today is proud to announce Trip Plan 1.0.12, an update to their popular trip planning application for Mac OS X. Designed specifically for aviation professionals, Trip Plan is a unique trip planning solution for pilots. Developed from the ground up utilizing the latest Cocoa technologies, Trip Plan focuses on ease-of-use and sports a beautiful, yet comprehensive interface.
Trip Plan features detailed information for airports around the world, with a database of over 24,000 landing facilities and heliports worldwide. Its advanced search makes it very easy to find airports, even if the user doesn’t remember what the airport name or spelling is – which can be quite a challenge when looking for accurate data. Users can organize and name groups of airports according to their working style, be it trip numbers or geographical locations.
Along side the airport and FBO (fixed-base operations) information, the application also offers helpful hotel, transportation and catering info. And Skype users can take advantage of Trip Plan’s built-in Skype support too – one-click dialing to anywhere in the world. Trip Plan takes all the guess work out of pre-trip planning and facilitates printing airport information as well as schedules. Airport reports come in an 2 page easy-to-read print out along with all the FBO phone numbers and runway information.
