EA announces SimCity for iPhone

Electronic Arts will release, next month, an iPhone version of the classic SimCity. The conversion is almost complete and very similar to the third series title, SimCity 3000, in terms of gameplay and graphics. As usual for porting applications on iPhone, the interface was thoroughly revamped to better exploit the capabilities offered from multi-touch. Users, for example, can have access to new types of controls for space to zoom in and out particular areas.

The players of the series have become more of their own city, there will be commercial and residential areas equipped with services such as water, electricity and transport. The difficulty lies in meeting the demands of the inhabitants, to fit the budgets and remedy disasters, similar to those of real life as fires and floods. SimCity for iPhone is expected to cost about $ 10.
