The possible specifications of new iPhone 4G

A supposed source “very near the equipment of development of hardware of Apple” has published a list and so they could the future be the engineering specifications of iPhone (or iPhones) that could appear this summer. They are the following:

• 16 and 32 GB of space.
• Camera of 3.2 megapíxeles with capacity of recording of video.
• Screen YOU SMELL.
• Battery a more lasting 50%.
• Amount of ram memory and doubled frequency of processor.
• Incorporated radio FM and compass, something that already we commented.

• The apple of the later part of the telephone is illuminated.

There are things that personally I do not see feasible, like for example the illumination of the apple knowing that one of the inconvenient pricipales of iPhone is indeed the duration of the battery. The price of the telephone, nevertheless, would not change and would conserve the amount of 199 and 299 dollars.

AT&T loose lips give new iPhone information?

The Boy Genius, who seems to have friends at every Telco, has apparently gleened the following information from AT&T in regards to a certain next generation iPhone:

We can’t tell you where or who, but pretty high up in AT&T’s food chain, the following was reported to be said:

• New iPhone announcement around mid-June (duh)
• New iPhone will be faster and have a more seamless experience unmatched by any device (could be just talking about 3.0, but we think it’s also a new iPhone)
• U-Verse iPhone application; will allow control of your home DVR (play, pause, rewind, etc.)
• The annual iPhone launch is “becoming a tradition.”
• Nothing official is being confirmed, but they said that people should prep for an exciting time this summer.
• AT&T is said to be working with Apple to create a unified product with an unparalleled experience across all their products and services.
• Apple’s 3.0 software should tell us where the iPhone platform is going… uh, k?
• They said customers shouldn’t need to choose from AT&T’s high-end devices because of features, they should choose based on preferences. The gap in capability should be filled with the new iPhone. Ok, bets on slide out QWERTY, autofocus camera, video sharing, blah blah?
• Seems like the higher speed HSDPA (7.2Mbps) is being hinted at too which should confirm the earlier rumors of the new Infineon chipset.
• The $99 3G netbook will start selling this summer, and the first one won’t be a Windows OS.

For clarification, the above is 100% confirmed.

Excited yet?  That last point makes our head spin…

Towards a new iPhone? The amplified noise corridor

The latest firmware version of the iPhone relaunch rumors about the possibility of a new version of the popular Apple phone, as reported by the MacRumors site.

The firmware lists the different versions of the iPhone to fit the proper equipment. In its list of identification, “iPhone 1.1″ is the first iPhone, “iPhone 1.2″ identifies the iPhone 3G its successor. There is however a new version that does not yet seem to exist, stamped “iPhone 2.1″.

In the same way, the second version of the iPod Touch was also identified 2.1, against 1.1 for the first version. The second revision brought a speaker, a faster processor and management of a microphone.

The new revision of the iPhone could provide a new hardware configuration. There is talk now of the multicore CPU and graphics processor and a power consumption decrease.
