Parallels Desktop 4.0: Virtualization for Mac OS X

Parallels, which specializes in developing software virtualization and automation, has just introduced version 4.0 of Parallels Desktop, a virtualization tool dedicated to Mac OS X. It allows to run on a Mac other operating systems like Windows or Linux.
Eighteen months after the release of Parallels 3.0, the new version put more on optimizing performance and saving energy. With over 50 new features, it promises performance 50% faster than the previous version, including through improving the virtualization engine, which now consumes 15 to 30% less resources. More »
