Macbook Laptops

Apple started introducing the MacBook laptops succeeding their iBook series. The first MacBook laptop was launched in 2006 and there have been several models instigated since then. The MacBook runs on Intel based processors and have their own integrated operating system in them. ‘X Leopard’ is their latest operating system known for its easy usability and smooth functioning. The MacBooks laptops have come out in different variants like, MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook pro.

The MacBook is the lower-end version, aimed at regular consumers. The MacBook Air is a lightweight offering which is extremely portable. The MacBook Pro is a high-end offering which packs in more power and has array of features. Apple introduced the glossy display screen, which has been quiet popular for its brighter viewing and better contrast abilities. The MacBook are priced from Rs 50,000 onwards and come in the conventional white colour, the black color models are also available with added costs.

The operating systems of the MacBooks have been known for simplifying usage and giving a new look from the traditional windows operating systems. The latest MacBook laptops have incorporated the Intel Core 2 Duo processors which have enhanced performance. The MacBook Pro models have nvidia graphics card installed which provides better video and gaming experience.

Problems with OS X 10.5.7

It seems that the problems continue after the latest update of OS X. In this case, the affected version 10.5.7 and is reported as a lot of users have encountered problems.

Perhaps that is affecting more people are problems with the USB ports on the first computers that had been launched with Intel processors, this problem makes connectivity with peripherals lost. There are also problems with the graphics and monitors.

Besides the problems mentioned above are others such as lack of sound, problems with WiFi, computers are shut down for no apparent reason, overheating …

The truth that the list of problems is long. Some have been lucky enough to install the combo update from Apple’s website instead of using software update, but in other cases this has not worked.

The version 10.5.6 Leopard correct over 100 problems

Leopard, the latest iteration as Mac OS X version 10.5.5 is since September. Another draft, stamped quite logically 10.5.6 has been in preparation since, and it learns through an Italian site that breaks the non-disclosure.

The build 9G52 of the update fixes 10.5.6 yet exactly 103 bugs. The bulk of the system is concerned, but Apple has asked developers to focus more specifically on synchronization with the online service MobileMe and the Mail application. These two points are more accurately test under conditions where laptops using WiFi networks at medium or high latency. More »
