Pusher: the second jailbreak of iPhone Rip Dev
For several days has made its appearance on another Web tool for the jailbreak of iPhone with firmware 2.0.2, 2.1 and 2.2 different from the famous Pwnage Tool and Quickpwn developed by Dev Team. It’s called Pusher, and is a method that is raised several controversies on the Web.
Pusher is developed by Rip Dev, the authors of the famous – and now some ‘forgotten – Installer.app, but many storch mouth in front of their effort: Pusher is a soft jailbreak, in the sense that installs Installer.app (and not Cydia, nor Open SSH) on the partition intended for multimedia files. Since the section on the file system is not affected, the authors argue that the guarantee will not be invalidated and then a release is preferable to that competitor.
