netflix Netflix is beginning to test your streaming video for Mac

Netflix is a content provider to the U.S., by about 9 dollars a month, offers unlimited service for rental of movies and television series through its streaming service. And from now on becomes a direct competition to the iTunes Music Store, which have already begun to do tests to offer video streaming for our Macs.

Curiously, in order to do so will use Silverlight technology from Microsoft to enhance the content of the instant viewing service. Tests have begun for a small portion of Netflix customers, and it is assumed that all subscribers can use the service at the end of the year.

The fact that Netflix using Silverlight, unfortunately, means that the service is available only for Macs with Intel. And why not, the service will be available in the United States. Anyway, an unlimited streaming service for $ 9 may be a good competition, and personally I think Apple should keep their eyes open.
