Lower-capacity batteries in the new MacBook Pro

Pro os new MacBooks have a battery with 20% less capacity than the previous models, or at least that’s what we said Ryan Block on his blog. The two are from the previous 10.8 V but are 5600mAh and the new are 4700mAh.
This is not to say that autonomy is severely curtailed, because we know that Apple is using techniques such as prolonged use of the new GPU from NVIDIA, to remind ourselves that is optimized for use in laptops, in addition to using a modified version of OS X that can make more efficient use of energy.
