Larger iPod Touch ?
May you be sick of hearing and seeing rumors of an Apple tablet, as they have been around for as long as they have touch screens (iTablet, anyone?). However, this rumor is a little different. Mike Arrington of TechCrunch reports that Apple customers should be prepared to see a 7 “9″ touch-screen iPod device sometimes in the near future, most probably in the autumn of 2009. Saying, Apple is already talking with OEMs on mass production and some of the sources of TechCrunch already have their hands on prototypes.
Although this would be interesting to see, I am not sure if all plausible. Already, there are millions of iPods and iPhones buttons on the market, so that the introduction of a larger, more expensive model May not be up to the task. That is, unless this model also supports Mac OS X, which I believe should. A 7 “9″ is not really a bother that I want in my pocket as a simple device for playing music, it is safe. Take this rumor as it can, I think it will be interesting again.
