iPhone Software 2.0 is here!

In this video, I give my initial thoughts on the iPhone 2.0 software. If you recall, I was excited about the new firmware (v2.0) moreso than the new iPhone 3G hardware. My excitement was well warranted as the iTunes App Store is absolutely amazing! The applications are abundant (there are plenty of free ones out there) and while I’ve only spent $5, I have almost 5 pages of apps! with the 2.0 update and above if you press the top button (off and on button) and home button at the same time it will take a picture of what its on the screen it works on the touch and phone

the program to get on the “ap store” comes with new iphones and is free if you have an old iphone and upgrade your software also for free. On the “ap store” there are free applications and some that cost money, and you need an itunes account with apple for it to work.

do i have to have my iphone unlocked/jailbreaked to instal the apps store??? or is it a preset icon on the phone when first bought by apple or mac??? please respond

yeah i think 2.0 crashes quite a bit but think of it this way, its an improvement and hopefully they will be updating and improving more and more and soon it’ll be fine. [and just throwing in, im using an iphone =)]

AIM is eh, Pandora was good for me, and Remote actually crashed my iptouch a few times. I’m selling my touch and will get an iphone in the next few months.

these new apps crash like crazy.. and it seems to be somewhat slower.. not to mention i got the new 3G model

I didn’t buy the 3G iphone either. I’ve installed alot of the new apps on my iphone and i am getting bored with them pretty quick. It will be interesting to see what games will be developed for the iphone in the near future.
