HP releases iPhone application for printing photos

HP launches an application allowing iPhone users to print their photos and images without any connection to achieve. Available for download on Apple App Store, iPrint Photo allows users to print a photo simply by touching the screen. Once the image is activated, instructions are sent to the printer.

“The wireless printing is a perfect complement to the experience of shooting and viewing photos on iPhone and iPod Touch,” says HP. “The images stored on the iPhone or iPod Touch can be printed on most inkjet printers HP connected to a LAN Wi-Fi images will be printed in a standard photo.

HP Photo iPrint uses Apple’s Bonjour tools to locate and identify the printers, and supports Wi-Fi networks, including Apple Airport, Linksys, D-Link and Netgear.
