How to Install Mac OS X at the MSI Wind U100 (Medion Akoya Mini / Advent 4211)

What works and what does not work

In general, everything works, but:

• If you purchased the MSI Wind: not work on Wi-Fi.

• If you purchased the Medion Akoya Mini: Yes operate the Wi-Fi (with a special software) but it does not work the camera.

Requirements

Before you start you need the following (no sense to start if not all of these things lists):

• A DVD player or an external USB memory over 4GB.

• A DVD with the Kalyway 10.5.2.

• A DVD or USB memory stick with the 10.5.3 update of Kalyway.

If installing from a USB memory

Install from a USB memory requires additional steps (and Mac OS X):

1. When you’ve finished downloading the Kalyway 10.5.2 mount the. Iso and open Disk Utility (in the Utilities folder).
