The new Epson SX405
The first impression of the Epson SX405 is that its a very compact machine for such a something that promises to perform such as large number of task. It claims to be able to print photo quality prints as well as scan documents in high resolution and photo copy without the need to be connected to a PC. Photo printing can also be preformed without the need for a PC also, with its built in LCD screen you can edit the photo and print directly from your camera (PictBridge enabled) or your memory card. The scanner facility will scan pretty much anything from books, magazines and photos in black and white or colour and also comes with OCR software which enables you to scan text documents and then edit the text afterwards. The photo copier will also copy documents in both black and colour. Ink for the SX405 comes in the form of four individual ink cartridges and cost around £30 for the full set. However, compatible Epson SX405 ink cartridges can be found for around half this price. The Epson Stylus SX405 is an excellent all-in-one printer and manages to perform a wide variety of tasks to a very high stand without needs to be a large machine that takes up half the room. Cheers for the informative site. Every now and then, the best information originate from the articles a person wouldn’t expect.
