Should Apple fear Chrome OS?

After months of waiting, Google has recently left the public to begin to see the concept, design and performance of Chrome OS at its headquarters in Mountain View, California. The implementation of the development of an operating system by the giant Google is already feared by pure definition, since Chrome OS has all the ingredients to make a good community of users.

First, is made by Google. And we all know the level of adoption who get Google products for better and for worse. Few Internet users today are not reading their emails with gmail, chat with GTalk, review your RSS feeds with Google Reader and Google have proven Wave.

Second, Chrome OS is free and open source. Linux already has this, but Chrome OS (based on Debian) is presented as an alternative to a series of free distributions which are still quite difficult for the average user.

My Thoughts on iPhone 2.1 Software Update

which allows one to generate “super smart” playlists based a certain song. Genius has been hit or miss for me, but generally, it does a decent job. My personal playlists will always be better in my opinion. So overall, if you are a user of the 2.0 software on the iPhone, I highly recommend you upgrade immediately. (Derf’s) iPhone Software Update 2.0 Preview

Just a quick preview of the iPhone Software Update 2.0, makes the iPhone really exciting again, as if it were June 2007 again. Also, it seems as though that the “bug” I was talking about with the passwords in this video is a feature, which is in place to make sure you’ve input the correct password. While I still think this is unwise and have never in my life thought I needed this, but there you have it.
