classic 2.0.1 update for iPod classic and 1.0.3 for iPod nano 4G (Updated)Apple has released an update for iPod classic and iPod nano to the fourth generation.

The update for iPod classic adds the ability to record audio through the cap with a microphone and some bug fixes, including one that put the creation of Genius playlist.

What iPod nano 4G fixes some bugs, improving communication with the Nike + system and solving the problem of distorted picture when you pause.
It also support audio headsets with microphone.

As always, to get the update just connect your player to your computer and select from the iTunes button “Check for Updates.”

The winning iPod iTunes give ideas to MySpace. At a conference at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Chris DeWolfe, co-founder and CEO of the community site, revealed that the idea to manufacture a portable player stamped MySpace had crossed the mind.

According Reuters, he said that such a project was “possible” but not immediately. “At the moment, we focus on services,” he assured.
