Apple QuickTime 7.6 corrects several problems
Apple has recently released an update for QuickTime that affects all users of the software under Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard) and Windows. Program: fixes a security problem, improvements in the encoding and decoding, and better stability.

* Improving the quality of the single-pass H.264 encoding
* Improves reliability when playing MPEG
* Improving the quality when encoding AAC
* The extraction of audio tracks of an MPEG file is now correctly
* Improved compatibility with iChat and Photo Booth
* Fixed several security holes
