sad unibody macbook Cala production of the new MacBook

From the Chinese Commercial Times comes the news that Apple and ASUSTeK have reduced the outsourcing of their computers in 30%, impacts heavily on revenues from OEM companies. And just because someone speaks of already Flop or even failure for new computer technology Unibody.

ZDNet there be light and argues that a fall in 20%, 30% can not be attributed solely to economic performance, especially when you consider that in reality similar things went much better. And ‘the case of HP, which in the third fiscal quarter in notebook boasts a growth of 26%, and if we add to this that many Apple resellers are offering refunds and discounts to boost sales, perhaps there is some problem seriously. Pusher: the second jailbreak of iPhone Rip Dev

iPhone pusher Pusher: the second jailbreak of iPhone Rip Dev

For several days has made its appearance on another Web tool for the jailbreak of iPhone with firmware 2.0.2, 2.1 and 2.2 different from the famous Pwnage Tool and Quickpwn developed by Dev Team. It’s called Pusher, and is a method that is raised several controversies on the Web.

Pusher is developed by Rip Dev, the authors of the famous – and now some ‘forgotten – Installer.app, but many storch mouth in front of their effort: Pusher is a soft jailbreak, in the sense that installs Installer.app (and not Cydia, nor Open SSH) on the partition intended for multimedia files. Since the section on the file system is not affected, the authors argue that the guarantee will not be invalidated and then a release is preferable to that competitor.

In fact, the mere fact that you have made a jailbreak the pledge must be considered lapsed, and also the history of the amendment “light that leaves no traces” is unconvincing. E ‘known fact that the changes made by Pwnage Tool are completely reversible with a simple restoration with the original firmware. A want to be malicious, it seems that almost Pusher has found a way to give back to Installer.app, which is a contradiction for the simple fact that it provides only 8% of the applications installed through Cydia.

The council, therefore, is to prefer the software developed by the Dev Team as it offers greater possibilities than Pusher and ensures a virtually total control on its iPhone. On that, good to see, is why would a run a jailbreak.

ipadtouchcover Is LG preparing multitouch screens for Apple?

Of the hands of Electronics comes the news that LG is developing technology with multitouch screens for a specific customer and the rumor that Apple might be that customer. If so, this would revive the hopes of a NETBOOK multitouch on the part of our firm favorite.

LG already has a deal with Apple to make them produce the screens of the iMac, so this rumor would not be anything crazy. We have no details of the panel, but according to the source appears to be ready for mass production or even longer ready to be sent.

Apple, as always, maintains its secrecy. But this news, along with patents multitouch screens released a few weeks ago, may be a sign. Who knows, you may have surprises for January.

ballmer iphone An anti iPhone by Microsoft?

From the presentation of the first iPhone, is chasing an ad increasingly roboanti and subtle allusions, and now Microsoft, historically have a slow but powerful machine, seems to have decided to create a smartphone.

One thing seems so obvious to those critics to enthusiastic: for better or for worse, iPhone has marked a new concept of phone and simply because so much is taken as a model. You can copy it, draw inspiration or reinterpret how did RIM, but no ignornarlo own. That is why it is not surprising the idea of Microsoft to get into arrogance in a market already dominated by other producers.

According to indiscretions, the device will be fitted with a chip from Nvidia Tegra and, obviously, from some version of Windows Mobile, however, is not even known whether or not incorporate some sort of touch-screen technology, although it is virtually assumed that so.

To learn more, however, we must still wait a few months, until 3GSM in February when an announcement is expected to pump magna. And we will be there.
